Life can be tough sometimes… but it’s important to remember SO ARE YOU! Understanding our strengths, building resilience, and learning more about ourselves and our environment can have an incredible impact on how we perceive, think, and feel. Taking those first steps today to reach out for support is a huge accomplishment. You’re not alone, even though at times it may seem isolating or difficult. It’s my hope that we can work together, learn from each other, and face life’s obstacles through person-centered and strength-based counselling.
I hold experience working with survivors of trauma, individuals with varying mental health needs or diagnoses, individuals struggling with addictions, and individuals who have been involved in the justice system. My treatment approach is a hybrid one drawing from CBT, narrative therapies, emotionally focused therapies, and talk-therapy. I too am continuously learning and growing and I will work to employ whatever style of therapy can best match with your needs! Let’s both work together to achieve goals, grow, and heal.
